Hi. I have an event open for registration. There is a hotel room block that registrants can reserve. At the moment, delegates can only complete registration if they include a hotel room request, even if they do not actually need a hotel room.

How do I switch this off?

If you go to the hotel widget on the reg form... click on request setup and then you can change it from Required to Optional.  If someone selects that they do not require a hotel, you can add an additional question that will pop up on the next page of your registration that makes them tell you why.  It's a good checks/balances to make sure that they didn't skip it on accident and that they truly don't need a hotel reservation.
