  • 1.  Uploading Custom Fonts

    Posted 02-18-2025 15:05

Looking to see if anyone has the same issue and/or a workaround. When I download fonts from Adobe, they go into the Creative Cloud app and also into the Font Book app on my MacBook. But it seems every font I download is locked in Font Book so I am unable to download the font file to then be able to upload to Cvent to the custom fonts to use on a website. Is there any easier way to download and upload custom fonts to Cvent? Or any other insight? I've spent so much time trying to figure this out.

    Hi Lindsey,

You're right-Adobe Fonts sync directly to your system but don't provide downloadable font files, which makes it tricky to upload them to Cvent. One workaround is to check if the font is available for direct download from the Adobe Fonts website (some may allow it). Otherwise, you might need to source the font from a licensed third-party site where you can download the actual file in a supported format (like .woff, .woff2, or .ttf).

Another option is to use web-safe fonts or Google Fonts, which integrate more easily with Cvent's custom font settings. Last week, I downloaded a font from Google Fonts and installed it in Cvent without any issues.

Let me know if you'd like any help exploring these options!
