  • 1.  Verification Code Delivery Preferences

    Is there a way for attendees to select a preference for their Event App verification code delivery?

    We're running a small corporate event. In previous iterations, our IT security prevented cvent-spoofed emails (including the email verification codes) from hitting users' inboxes. That issue has been solved. However, now when attendees log into the app, they receive both an email and a text message within moments of one another. While this is a minor redundancy, I was wondering if there is a way for users to set their preference for their verification code should they find it annoying -- I can see a few members of our C-suite getting irritated with this.

    Hi Drew,

    Unfortunately, this is not an option. Both options are sent as a way to cover all basis and make sure that the attendee actually receives the verification code.

    @Drew Coles how did you solve this delivery issue? Did you get CVent to stop spoofing? This is very frustrating and we cannot get it resolved
