I second this!! We have our admission items set up as different hybrid and virtual passes for one day and full week attendance based on certain member types. If the attendee selects a one day pass on the admission items page, they will have the option to select the specific day they are attending on the next page. We don't have a cap on how many folks can attend each day, but the field is there to do so and set up a waitlist.

Hello Lauren,
A possible option would be to associate a session to each admission item. This way you get the visual look you want with the ability to use the session waitlist feature.
Hope this helps!

Subject: Waitlists for Admission Items
Hi!
I'm trying to figure out the best way to set this up in Cvent and would appreciate any guidance.
I'd like my registration page to require attendees to select just one day to attend (e.g., Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday), essentially acting as a single-day pass. Each day should have a max capacity of 7, but I'd also like to enable an unlimited waitlist once that capacity is reached.
Here's what I've tried so far:
- Session groups: This worked for limiting selection to one day, but the registration page displayed the start date of the first session as a header, which didn't look clean.
- Admission items: This gave me the structure I wanted visually, but I couldn't find a way to enable a waitlist for each option.
Is there a recommended approach to achieve:
- Single-day selection (only one choice allowed),
- Capacity limits per day, and
- A waitlist option when capacity is full?
Thanks in advance for your help!
