Hi, 

I am hosting a week-long conference. I would like to setup CVENT to use an optional item (for a luncheon, gala, etc) without going through the event registration process... Would be similar if they were buying a t-shirt or making a donation. Please HELP.

Hi Allison,

We do paid lunches and dinners at our events, but we have them set up as a session with a fee.  This allows us to include a registration question for their meal selection (plated).  I'm sure you could set up your meal events as optional items as long as you don't need to collect any additional information from the attendee about the meal event.
