Meet Hallie
My career has taken from faith-based non-profit and association management work to Fortune 200 companies. The one constant has been my eagerness to learn and adopt new technologies that can be implemented effectively to enhance the UX experience and advance the organization's goals.

Can you share a little about your current role at the company you work for?
As the Event Operations Specialist at CDW (IT Services and IT Consulting), I work as the account administrator, integration specialist, day-to-day help desk. I work with stakeholders to devise and refine processes in support of our Events & Experiences team and greater Field Marketing organization.v
How long have you been using Cvent and what products do you currently use?
I've been using Cvent since the version called Brown. Currently, We use Strategic Meetings Management extensively to automate workflows, statuses, and integrations. We love the OnSite Solutions of OnArrival and Event in a Box. We’ve invested in the premium branding package and expanding our use of the Attendee Hub branded mobile app more every day. We are excited to begin integrating our Cvent with our Salesforce platform.

Are you Cvent certified and if so which certifications do you hold? Do those certifications help you train others?
Have they played a role in advancing your career in some way?
I can’t thank Cvent enough for keeping training available to industry colleagues while many of us were furloughed and/or out of work due to the pandemic. I was able to keep up my skillset, retraining and re-certifying through Cvent Academy and I attribute my success in acquiring my current position to the availability and use of those resources.
How have you helped others within your organization be successful with Cvent technology?
Through a department newsletter, monthly team calls, and individual coaching, I enjoy supporting our users to learn and excel in their roles by leveraging Cvent tools as much as possible.
For those who are just starting with Cvent, what advice would you share with them?
Take advantage of Cvent Academy’s learning paths!!!
What is your favorite Cvent feature and why?
Planner Alerts are a mainstay resource for tracking new activity, and I especially rely on them for room block pick-up information.
