With the Thanksgiving Holiday right around the corner, the Cvent Client Success team is excited to share some of their favorite Cvent features we can all be thankful for this year!
1. Cvent Supplier Network – Source venues and submit request for proposals, directly within the Cvent Supplier Network! Compare venues and proposals side-by-side, and award RFPs directly to venues within the CSN. You can even report on year-over-year data. This is something already included with your Cvent license! You can access it through the App Switcher in your account, under “Suppliers”.
2. Cvent Surveys – There is no better way to collect data on what your attendees thought of your event, than with Cvent Surveys. Use the data they provide to help drive the decisions for your future events. Customize the questions that are asked, and the format they are asked in. With Cvent Basic Surveys, you can have one overall event level survey, and one session level survey. With Cvent Premium Surveys, you can customize as many surveys as you want for each of your sessions, and the event overall. Need anonymous surveys, or do you only want attendees to receive their credits after completing the feedback survey? Cvent Premium Surveys will help you do just that! You can easily prompt attendees to take the surveys through the Attendee Hub, and you can report on real-time data.
3. Attendee Hub Event App – Keep your attendees engaged throughout your event with the Attendee Hub Event App. Allow attendees to view their schedule and floorplans, message other attendees, join in on networking, games, and discussions, and get real-time notifications from you as the planner.
4. BYO Reports – Ever been unsure what report template to use? Or had to combine a few reports together to get the information you needed? Well, now you don’t have to! With our new Build Your Own Custom Report option, you can choose the report type, and fields you need. Meaning you no longer need to choose a default report, remove the unnecessary fields, and add in the fields you want. You can customize your own report from scratch!
5. Registration Overview Page – Manage and track the key components of your event, using the Registration Overview Page. Within the Setup Tab, you can create and manage different components of your event. This includes adding registration types and admission items, viewing your weblinks, managing your registration paths, etc. Within the Insights Tab, you can view all the key metrics for your event, like registrations over time, check-ins, etc. You can even compare these metrics with previous events and download the page as a PDF to share with stakeholders.
6. Tradeshow Solutions: iCapture & Jifflenow – Do you attend events, as well as host your own? If so, do you need the ability to schedule appointments or collect leads? With our new iCapture lead capture technology, you can collect and qualify leads at every event your organization attends. With Jifflenow, you can schedule and host one-on-one meetings, sessions, booth visits, etc., at the events you are exhibiting at or attending.
7. Event Templates – Save time and create consistency across your events with Event Templates. You can create a template that adheres to your branding guidelines and has the fields and questions you use across multiple events. When users go to create a new event, they can then choose a template to start from so they don’t have to create an event from scratch. If you have different types of events, you can create different templates for each one. For example, a webinar template vs. a conference template. If there are different users who should have access to different templates, you can limit the user visibility as well.
8. Widget Visibility Logic – Show specific questions or contact fields to certain attendees using Widget Visibility Logic. You can choose who should see the widget based on a session or admission item or based on a travel request. For example, maybe you have a specific list of questions you need to ask people who submitted a hotel request, or who are attending a certain session. Another option is to limit visibility based on specific registrant criteria. For example, you can limit based on company, registration type, state, or their answer to another custom contact field.
9. Credits – Award Credits to your attendees based on their participation at the event, for specific sessions, or both! You can create credit types within your account, associate those to an entire event and to sessions as needed. Once someone is marked as a participant, they are awarded those credits. You can then send them a certificate with their proof of completion through Cvent! If you would rather assign credits to attendees manually, you can do that too.
10. OnArrival Basic – Gone are the days of checking off attendee’s names on a paper list as they enter your event. With the OnArrival Check-In App, you can check in and register attendees onsite. Simply search for their name in the app, or scan a barcode to get them checked in. All the data from the app syncs back into your event, so you can easily run reports on who attended your event!
