    Hello all,

    Can anyone provide me with instructions on how to instruct a primary registrant who is paying his registration fee with his corporate card but needs to pay his spouse's registration fee with his personal card? Thanks,

    I don't know of a way to split payment like that (except through the back end) so I would love to hear details too, if someone has that knowledge!

    Hi Evya,

    Hope you are well!

    I reviewed your query and there are three ways to go about this:

    1. If the invitee and guest are not yet registered for the event, then please ask only the invitee to register first for the event and make the payment using their Corporate card and then modify their registration > add their guest and make the payment for the guest using their Personal card. The invitee will have to login to their registration and click on Submit Payment button on the confirmation page to make the payment post registration.

    2. If the invitee and their guest have registered for the event and payment is not yet made, the invitee can remove the guest from the registration via registration modification > make the payment for their registration > modify registration again > add the guest > make payment for the guest.

    3. Or, the invitee settles the payment with you outside Cvent and you can then mark an offline payment in the event for their registration record.

    Currently, there is no direct way of making payment using different cards for the primary and their guests.  I understand your perspective and apologize for any inconvenience. But, it sounds like a great feedback. I suggest you to post this as an Idea/feedback for our product team by going to Cvent Community > Participate > Product Ideas. We encourage you to always submit your ideas or any challenges you face while working with the product. As it also help our Product Development team to review the possibilities and if it works we may try to incorporate such changes in our future releases.
