Hi Community!

Has anyone found a way to bulk #download documents that speakers upload to the #SpeakerResourceCenter?

To give context, I ask my speakers to upload 4 different forms that are necessary for them to present at the event (their paper, presentation, presentation clearance and biography). I then need to save these documents onto my computer in orderly files to make sure I have everything needed for my speakers to present.

At the moment, when I head to Speaker Resources > Uploads and select the documents I wish to download, clicking "download selected files" via the actions button does NOT prompt to save the files to my computer, which would solve my issue - it redirects to "my exports" section of my personal profile, which then causes the loss of vital information like which speaker uploaded which document for which task. Additionally, it downloads all files in zip format, which is an extra step that makes the whole process a lot longer for me. It means I have to download these anonymous zip files, manually unzip each one and open each document to find out what it is and to who it belongs.

Has anyone found a way to bulk download all documents that are uploaded for a single speaker of single task? #Reporting #ManagingEvents

Hi Isabel,

 To bulk download documents that speakers have uploaded to the Speaker Resource Center, follow these steps:

1. Go to your event's home page.
2. Navigate to Speakers > Speaker Resources > Uploads tab.
3. Select the documents by clicking the checkbox next to each document you wish to download.
4. From the Actions dropdown, select Download Selected Files.

Thank you for your reply, but this doesn't solve my issue. As I mentioned, the problem is that once you bulk download documents via Your profile's "my exports" section, you can no longer see which author updated which document to which task. This means I have to open each downloaded document individually to figure these things out, which is a huge waste of time. Additionally, when you download the document, they are downloaded as individual zip files (with only 1 single file in them). As I mentioned in my post, what I'm looking for is a way to download ALL documents from either an author or a task (maybe in a single zip file?). But not as separate documents that i have to open. Does that make sense? Please let me know if you have a solution, your support is much appreciated!

Hey Isabel!

I'm going to include some screenshots below here on what the process is supposed to look like (so forgive the long post!) because it sounds like something strange might be going on with the export if your downloaded zip file is stripping the author name and resulting in individual files

Bulk exporting speaker uploads, here we have various documents for two tasks for this example:

In My Profile > Exports - two different zip files were generated, one for each task:

When I download the zip files and click into one of them, there's a folder for each speaker:

Each of the above folders has whatever corresponding documents each speaker uploaded for that task.

To clarify, in your case, is a zip file being generated for each individual file, and only containing that file?
