You can upload the documents directly to the Cvent Media Library and use the generated document link.
Steps to upload documents to the Cvent Media Library and copy the link:

Navigate to Admin> Libraries > Document Library.

Click Upload and add the document(s) you would like to use.

Once the file is uploaded, select the document and copy its URL/link so it can be referenced on your site.
Steps to add the document link to your event or registration pages:

Open Site Designer for either:

Website pages: Event > Website > Open Site Designer, or
-
Registration pages: Event > Registration > Registration Process > Open Site Designer.

Drag and drop a Custom Link or Text widget onto the page where you want the document to appear.

For each document:

Enter the link text (for example, "Download PDF" or "View Itinerary PDF").Paste the document URL copied from the Media Library.

Optionally, set the link to open in a new tab.

Publish the changes.
Once published, invitees will be able to click the links during registration to open or download the documents.
