Hi - I saw an older post on this but wanted to get more recent experience.  We are a non-profit and would love to decrease our expenses by asking people to cover their credit card fees.  I know there is a service fee option.  Have you used it successfully?  It looks like there were earlier issues with how it was being calculated.  More importantly, I would like this to be optional.  A lot of charity sites have this pop up as a way to further increase your donation.  That doesn't seem to be an option.

I checked about this and as of now, there is no direct way to decrease the credit card fees that is charged to your account.

As an alternative, you can create it as a service fees and name it as processing fees and apply it using the setting 'How they pay' and select the credit cards. Or, you can increase the price of the admission item. Another option is to create donation item if you want to keep it as an option for the invitees to pay.

I was thinking you can use taxes as a way but it would only work if you could use a filter. The only filter I saw was based on State.
