  • 1.  Exhibitor Contracts and Signatures

    Hello,

    I need my exhibitors to sign a contract upon registering in the exhibitor portal.  I know I can add a task to ensure they do this, but what is the best way to collect the signature.  Adobe requires signed documents to be sent by email.  I don't want to have to send them individually.  The contract is the same for all exhibitors in this instance.

    Do you have a DocuSign Account? You could create an open form for them to sign off on and from there it would just generate a link to the Document that anyone with the link can sign. I would just make sure to include fields like Name/Company/Signature/Date and any other identifiable on the signature form so you can pair them with the exhibitors as they sign off on the form. 

    The best part is that DocuSign will send you a completed copy of the form when it's sign (and them) so you won't have to keep logging into Cvent to see if they signed or not. 

    You may also be able to integrate DocuSign with Cvent via API but I haven't had a chance to dig that far into it yet but it's on my list of things to try when trade show season is over.

    Thank you. We use Adobe for signatures and I can’t figure out how to generate a link like that. Any ideas?

    I'll shoot you an email! It depends on the version of Adobe you have but I believe it should be possible!
