If the registrant adds the group members at the time of registration or after they registered by modifying the registration, they get the option to make the payment for all at once on the payment page should they choose to make Credit Card payment. However, if they select Offline payment method, the system will let you (planners) to record individual payments for each group member separately as the group members are considered as individual registrants too in the event.
However, there is an alternative that you can use.
You can set the order amount for all group members to $0.00 and add a note saying their payment is included in the group leader's registration. Then, in the group leader's registration, add the total amount on their Orders & Payments page and make one combined payment.
For example: If the fee is $10.00 per person, and I register as the group leader with 5 group members, the planner will set each group member's fee to $0.00 and add their charges to my record. This way, my registration shows a total of $60.00, with a note confirming that the payment for the group members was collected under my registration.
