Yes! Publishing in the Site Designer will
NOT make your event go live. You would launch that elsewhere (the home page of the event).
Saving your site changes doesn't publish them to allow viewing in test mode. But publishing your changes, automatically saves AND allows you to view in test mode. It can be a little confusing at first. You can edit the site at any point in its lifecycle - pending, active, closed. You just have to remember to publish it (not just save).
I'm sure that's clear as mud! I probably didn't do a good job of explaining it, either. Sorry! :)

Ah, no I haven't, thank you.
I had assumed that would mean it became public and I couldn't edit it - but I think maybe as it's still "Pending" under event settings it will be ok and I can still edit the event?

Did you click Publish (not just save) in the Site Designer?

Subject: How to get test registration to work
Hello,
I've created a registration process for my event by using the Registration Path 1 template and adding my own questions and branding.
I've set up one Registration Type I just want all guests to automatically be linked to, and under Registration Path I've linked to this Type.
Now when I click test, all that comes up (either on my browser, or via email) is the generic template, with none of my content.
What am I doing wrong please? How do I get my event registration to appear?
Thanks!
