  • 1.  How to limit attendee guest to just one

    Hi All, 

    I am having trouble limiting the guest count. It should be one attendee is allowed only one guest, period. I have limited guest capacity to one. I have also limited to one under registration process on the guest info page  and turned on limit available registrations. It still allows more than one guest in my test. What am I missing? 

    I do have multiple registration types, could this be why?  I don't know hoe to not do that as I have varying fee levels depending on the reg. type.

    Hi Christina!

    When you test, how are you able to add more than one guest per registration? In my experience, when limiting the maximum guests per registration in the guest registration widget, the button to add another guest becomes grayed out.

    Also, can you expand on this "I have also limited to one under registration process on the guest info page  and turned on limit available registrations" ?

    Hello @Christina Snow,

    • The guest registration widget you have set the capacity to 1 
    • Did you assign a registration type to the guest?
    • Did you add the guest registration type to the guest page?
    • Did you include guest registration type to the admission & sessions?
    • Did you create a fee for the guest registration type?

    If you have multiple registration types do you have multiple registration paths? If so, make sure all guest quantity is set to 1 for all paths.
