    How do I stop emails from hyphenating within a text box and instead have the whole word drop to the next line? Please see the attached example.

    If this is how it's showing for you in Outlook, we are having the same issue and unfortunately it's Microsoft's doing. A while back, Microsoft introduced new Typography settings. These are set at the enterprise level, and we cannot alter them on regular email. Our Tech team has provided feedback to Microsoft that we would like to override these settings. I would check with your IT to see if you all are able to override the settings.

    Hi Denise,

    This is a common issue for emails displaying in Outlook desktop. There is some "Outlook-specific" code that can be added to the emails to help mitigate this.

    If you are using the Cvent email designer, create a new Custom Data Tag in the Admin Dashboard, set the type to Content Block, open the HTML editor, scroll to the bottom of the editor and click the HTML button.

    Paste in the following code and save it:
    <!--[if (gte mso 9)|(IE)]><style>div {mso-hyphenate: none !important;}</style><![endif]-->

    Add the data tag you created to the very top of your email header in a text block. I've been setting the font-size very low and reducing the spacing so it doesn't create extra space at the top of the email.

    If you are uploading HTML emails to your event, then you can skip the data tag step and just past that code snippet just below the <body> tag of the email.
