  • 1.  Integrated Cvent w/ Salesforce w/ API Only User

    Is it possible to integrate Cvent w/ Salesforce using a user login with the 'Minimum Access – API Only Integrations' Profile.  This Profile includes the 'API Access Only' permission that cannot be changed.  We are using this Profile to use the 'Salesforce Integrator' license.  When attempting to connect, we get the attached message and no connection is established.

    Hi Mark,

    The API access only user does not have the needed permission in order to run the Cvent Salesforce App, an administrator user will be required.

    Carl,

    Would you be so kind as to elaborate?  Does this mean the dedicated integration user we created in Salesforce has to be a full System Administrator to both establish the connection and to execute the integration?  Is there documentation that explicitly explains this?
