We have our standard registration path which includes the registration types Attendee, Member, Board and Corporate Partner. We also have a Speaker path for speakers. For a select handful of these people, we are offering an exclusive experience. I do not want it to be visible to anyone other than the people who are invited to participate. The participants are comprised of a mixture of those same 5 existing registration types which all have different registration fees associated with them.
There is no distinctive qualifier such as company or title, there is just a list of who is invited to attend the exclusive component. I think my path forward is just to create another 5 registration types with slightly different names and then use the separate registration path.

Hope you are well!
Please note that once registration type can be associated to one registration path only. If you associate same registration type to multiple paths, the system will get confused as which path to take the invitee from and what information to display and not to display.
If all the information in all your paths are same with no changes, then you can have only one path and associate all the registration types to that path. However, if you are displaying different questions/widgets/information for different registration types, for example: member registration type should see the a travel option but non member should not or one registration type should have the option to make the payment via Credit card only and another should have the option to make the payment via check etc, then you would need different registration paths and you'll have to associate the respective type to that path.
Could you please elaborate as why would you want the registration types to remain consistent across multiple paths? What is the objective behind this requirement? May be we can suggest some alternative if we know what is it that you want to achieve with this.
