Our March Cvent Beginner Office Hours highlighted two key tools that simplify event management: the Speaker Resource Center and Exhibitor Management. The session focused on practical setup steps to help you centralize communication and reduce manual follow-up with both speakers and exhibitors.
First, we walked through building out your Speaker Resource Center by adding speakers to your event and granting portal access. From there, we showed how to configure tasks so speakers can submit bios, headshots, and presentation files, see their assigned sessions, and track what's still outstanding. Office hours attendees also saw how you can quickly monitor speaker progress and nudge anyone who hasn't completed their tasks.
Next, we moved into Exhibitor Management, starting with how to add exhibitors, assign booth details, and enable portal access for exhibitor contacts. We then covered configuring portal options, creating exhibitor tasks with due dates, and setting up packages that bundle benefits-giving you one place to see what each exhibitor receives and what they still need to complete.
