I recently had a request from a business partner to create a survey question with a list of all faculty at the event with 2 rating questions side by side. They were looking for a way to consolidate multiple questions into one. They wanted the responder to only rate the faculty they interacted with. The first attempt was to create a simple matrix side by side but where they only had to answer for at least one faculty. I tried making it mandatory for the question but that meant they had to answer all. Then tried making it mandatory by category but that wouldn't work either because it all depended on who they interacted with.
I then tried setting up 2 questions, one for them to select who they interacted with and then a masking question. I was hoping that the masking question would then only display the categories (faculty) selected in the previous question. This didn't work because it says the masking question must be on a previous page. This doesn't make sense.
Has anyone had any luck with this type of request?
