  • 1.  Meal Vouchers / Coupon Codes within Event App

    Hello! My client is interested in knowing if there is a way to distribute food vouchers / coupon codes to attendees in our app. We have over 3,000 attendees and each will be given a set amount of 'coupons' to redeem for food & drink. 

    Is there a way we can do something like this within the app such as loading 'coupon codes' or a 'coupon QR code' via the attendee hub? 

    Any advice here would much appreciated!

    Hi Mary,

    Great idea! We do not currently have that functionality, so I would recommend posting this in the Ideas tab so that others can vote on your idea! 

    Besides the app, we do have customers that leverage badge printing for meal/drink tickets or session scanning for the meals!

    We have been using badge stock with tear off tickets for lunch and reception vouchers.  We have it programmed to match the admission item so it they are a one day and not three day attendee they only recieve the ticket(s) for the one day.  We are looking at moving to badge scanning instead which we figured meant adding meals and receptions as "sessions".  But the cost for the iPads at the multiple catering stations was more than the cost of the ticket badge stock, at this time.  But we are still considering it for the future.   Looking at different ways to minimize the number of iPad stations needed for catering.  Right now we depend on the catering vendor to count the tickets collected and charge us for actuals.  If we shift to badge scanning we need to be sure the catering vendor is comfortable with us collecting the final count and providing that to them for charging.
