Is there a way to merge attendees? For example, we have a few attendees who accidently typed their email in incorrectly during their first registration, didn't realize it and proceeded to register a second time. We would like to merge those 2 attendees together, since they are the same person.

Elizabeth, I do not believe there is a way to merge the registrations.  You will want to review the data in both, and combine (manually) if needed.  Then cancel one - possibly the one with the incorrect email.  You may want to push them a cancellation email and follow up explaining what you did, or you can suppress the cancellation email when you do it.  Be sure to follow up in Contacts.  You can either delete the contact record with the incorrect email address, or Merge it with the correct contact record.

There currently isn't a way to merge registrations. As Michele mentioned above, there are a few manual steps you can take to cancel the duplicate registration and send the registrant an email letting them know you made the update.

The platform does have the functionality of merging contacts in the address book. I would recommend reviewing this article if you want to make sure the person doesn't have two contact records: Merging Contacts
