    This brand new, left-based navigation gives planners a faster, cleaner way to move through Cvent-freeing up more screen space, reducing clicks, and making it easier to jump between key workflows with a modern, bolder interface.

    Key capabilities include:

    • Left-bar global navigation: Navigation moves to a left-bar global navigation that is always available and optimized for user workflows.
    • A simplified way to move across Cvent: The app switcher has been removed and integrated into the main navigation to simplify user navigation and reduce steps.
    • Faster access to your work: Top-level items are reorganized into clearer, more intuitive groupings that better mirror how users think about their work.
    • Click view all items to see everything in the event in one place: At the event level, a refreshed menu helps you jump directly into key areas (like registration, emails, venues, and more) from anywhere in the event workspace.
    • Search and recent items together: Search and Recents are combined into a single, unified entry point so users can quickly search or jump back into recently accessed items from one place.

    Your turn:

    • How do you start your day in Cvent now, and what would "faster" look like for you?

    @Brittany Fisher,

    How do you start your day in Cvent now, and what would "faster" look like for you?

    • Visually seeing the Insights icon reminds me how under utilize that function was for us in our data collection. I am just starting to build out Groups in Cross Event Insights for comparison and able to bring those analytics to all the user groups.

    Overall I like the look and organization of the new navigation.

    I have 2 suggestions for updates:

    • From the Events page, when I click the Admin gear icon, the Events dropdown opens automatically. This reorders the navigation, so when I think I'm clicking the Admin icon, I end up clicking the Sourcing icon instead. The Events dropdown should remain closed until the user hovers over the Events icon.
    • I don't know how to clear Recent Searches. Or will it always show the last 5 searches?
