Preview mood does not show my changes

I copied an event to create a similar one. I changed all the registration conditions and saved everything. However, when I want to preview the event, the old copied event still appears. What should I do?

    Hi Tomasz,

Did you also publish? Saving only saves it on the back end; it won't show up in preview mode unless you click "Publish" as well.

    I hope that helps!

Publish it, after this event I would build a template so you can utilize the elements you need but still add the new items for the current event.

You have to choose "Publish", even though it seems counter-intuitive to do so!

After saving, you'll need to click the "Publish" button so the changes become active.  I feel like we've all missed this step at some point.  Hopefully you were also using data tags on the event to save you time making the changes.

Reiterating the "publish" instruction from others, but also I have found that sometimes adding the staff I know are attending has helped push changes. Hope you have worked it out!

    Hi Tomasz,

I agree with the others who have mentioned that you need to also publish.  Once you do, you should see the new updated information.  Good luck!

I know it doesn't make sense, but you have to publish in order to preview. I think it would be nice to be able to preview something that isn't live.

    Hello Elena,

Publishing is related to the Site Designer work only. It is different from turning your website live or opening your registration. I think Cvent has the save & publish as two different modes to give us the option to view the version history.

As many others have said, you need to publish it. Also, I always check the weblinks as well to make sure all pages have refreshed.

I don't believe the new event will show until you Publish it. Once published, it should show up in preview mode.

    Good luck!

Everyone has said this - but you are not ALONE. I freaked out once because it did this. PUBLISH.

I wonder if you didn't publish - that could be it!
