Hi Lauren - I believe the standard contact field for pronouns is on the Attendee Profile in Attendee Hub (Features > Attendee Profile). You can allow attendees to edit this section:

For many years we had a custom field for pronouns as well. When the standard contact field was added, I had our developers populate that field with pronoun information instead of the custom field (contacts are added via an API). Then I did a contact import to move all pronoun data into the standard contact field so I could delete the custom field (was also working on removing unneeded custom fields).
I can see in your use case if you have a specific set choices your organization uses, the custom field might be a better option. I have found that the standard contact field isn't always available in areas where I might want to drop in a data tag or a report field but so far it that hasn't been a showstopper for me.

Subject: Pronoun contact field
Years ago we made a custom contact field for pronoun so we can include it on the name badges. Cvent hass now launched a standard contact field of pronoun. I am inclined to just keep our custom field but does it show up other places like the app? I wasn't sure if there were advantages of using the standard field.
We also have a list of options to choice from so they can be more standard on name tags. I know the Cvent standard field is an open field, which makes it more accessible, but also I can see our users just writing random things in that box.
Thanks.
