It sounds like the dropdown is pulling from a predefined list that hasn't been populated yet on the backend. This is usually managed by your Cvent account admin or whoever set up the registration form.
I'd recommend reaching out to your internal Cvent administrator and letting them know that the dropdown list is currently empty. They should be able to update the field options or adjust the settings so it's not mandatory if it's not needed.
