  • 1.  Session ended message when the simulive session is active

    Hi,

    I have run through this a few times but must be missing something simple.

    1. Created a session and set the Video element to pre recorded and Simulive
    2. Uploaded the video just fine
    3. Set to on demand in the hub
    4. Set Chat and Q&A to live
    5. Set the session time start from 1hr ago and the end to 3 hrs in the future on the current date (this is to test)
    6. Go to Hub and the session is live but when I click the Join now button there is a message that the session has ended and video is not showing
    7. The Details menu also shows that it should be live


    Really can't work this one out, tried in sandbox and live environments.

    Hi Phil,

    Hope you are well.

    I got this checked and was advised that this could be due to some browser issue which can be fixed by clearing the cache and cookies of the browser or using a different browser. Or, it also could be because of the time zone as well. For example : The event is in a different time zone and the invitee's attendee hub is set to system time zone, which is different from the event's time zone. So if the system time zone is selected in the Attendee hub and the time is not setup correctly in the invitee's system then this could cause the issue.

    However, the team would need to check this further to determine what is causing the issue in your event.

    I would suggest you to contact the Attendee Hub team directly by creating a case or giving them a call at +44 0808.234.4543 (From UK) > Press 1 for Event cloud > Press 1 for Setting Up Event > Press 2 for Attendee Hub for immediate assistance.

    I will give the helpdesk a call tomorrow as not browser cache and the event and hub are set to GMT.
