This week’s Tip of the Week is all about giving your registration site a modern, on-brand glow up with two updates in Site Designer: new Motion & Animation controls and a smoother canvas experience.
Use motion to spotlight what matters
You’ll now see an Animate option on key widgets like images, text, and custom link buttons. Use it to:
- Add subtle motion to hero images, headlines, and CTAs
- Choose smart triggers like On Page Load, On Hover, On View, or On Click
- Pick curated styles (e.g., Scale, Rise, Fade, Slide) and quickly adjust speed and intensity as needed
Animations are off by default, applied widget by widget, and designed with accessibility in mind, so your content still works even if motion is reduced on someone’s device. Lean into motion for key dates, locations, and promos—not for dense paragraphs or must‑read policies.
Build faster with the refreshed canvas
Site Designer now feels more like a modern web tool and less like panel‑hunting. You’ll notice:
- On‑canvas section controls to clearly see sections and quickly add, move, duplicate, or delete them (with helpful “Add widgets” empty states).
- Cleaner header & footer editing with clear global vs. page‑specific areas, so you can adjust navigation and branding more confidently.
- Friendlier widget interactions with borders and a mini toolbar for common actions right on the canvas.
