    I have an event where sessions were initially capped at 50 attendees and we are utilizing session waitlist functionality. After the registration window was completed, capacities for the sessions that had a waitlist were increased and the waitlist emails were deployed to the users. 

    Session capacity was updated but the session still shows as 'Capacity Full' & 'Join Waitlist' on the registration page. How do you get this to change to show that there are spots available for the session?


    This is the backend setup for this session. I couldn't disable waitlist because there are people on the waitlist...

    Hi Abby,

    Hope you are well.

    When you have a session in waitlist and you increase the session capacity to open spots and send the session waitlist notification to the session waitlisted registrants, the system will give preference to these session waitlisted invitees before any new invitee can register for the event. That is why the session still shows as full for any new invitee. Until all the session waitlisted registrants have registered for the session or they are removed from session waitlist, it will show as full for the new invitees.

    To fix this here are the options for you:

    1. You can register all the session waitlisted invitees for the session at the backend at your end.
    2. You can ask all the session waitlisted invitees to register for the waitlisted session asap so that it becomes available for the new invitees.
    3. You remove all the session waitlisted invitees from the session waitlist so that the session is open for registration for all and send an email to all these invitees to modify their registration and add the session to their registration.
