    Hello, 

    Has there been an update to weblinks feature when it's copied from an old event? Will the new links still open the old event or will they link to the new event?

    Hi Angel,

    When you copy an event in Cvent, the system automatically generates new weblinks for the copied event. These links are unique to the new event and will not direct attendees to the old event, even if the old event had the same structure or settings.

    However, keep in mind:

    • If you copy emails or documents from the old event into the new one, any manually inserted links (like pasted URLs) might still point to the old event. So be sure to double-check and replace them with the new weblinks from the Weblinks section of the new event.
