I'm pretty sure I've used them in the event titles without an issue - are you running into an error? If so, what's it say and where do you encounter it?

Thanks Mike!  This is what my colleague (who's building the site) said:  

"Its in the email section so all the titles in the emails that are sent, and when you click on our emails for contact us it will just say "First word of program name"  and then nothing else if the & is there. It sees the "&" and then blanks the rest out."

Interesting - so it sounds like you have a Contact Us widget built into the site, and the system won't populate the entire event title (assuming it's using a data tag to populate it)? That's a really specific issue and maybe something Cvent isn't aware of, so I'd recommend calling them or submitting a ticket to support.

Maybe a workaround to this is using a custom link widget instead and adding the mailto link for your inbox to it?
