Paypal Payflow Pro (PFP) or Paypal Express (PPE)

PayPal has recently announced that they will be sunsetting PayFlow Pro (PFP) and PayPal Express (PPE) for their merchant services offerings.

  • After April 10, 2026 – No new events can be launched using PFP or PPE merchant accounts

  • Cvent Payments is already available in your account if you are a customer.
  • Switching is quick and free, so you can start seeing the benefits immediately.
  • There will be no impact on existing events; Cvent Payments is simply a different merchant account.

How do I switch to Cvent Payments?

  1. Log into your Cvent Account.
  2. Follow this step-by-step guide that walks you through entering your information.
  3. When you've completed your setup, please email cpsaccounting@cvent.com. We will double-check your account configuration and activate your new merchant account.

  • Other Merchant Gateways: Look at our list of compatible merchant gateways and work with your account team to confirm compatibility.
