Cvent Beginners

I can't figure out how event administrators who register on behalf of their person (boss, executive, etc.) can modify that registration. They don't receive the verification code if they click the Modify Registration button in the confirmation email and follow the login prompt, and I don't see a place that uses the confirmation code for any purpose whatsoever.

Hi Jesse,

Within your event under General > Event Settings > Security > Post-Registration Authentication > You will see where you can setup your event to authenticate via confirmation number and email OR verification code. 

If your event is set to verification code, then the verification code is only sent to the primary registrant. Within your verification code email, you technically could add a CC email address to receive the code as well. 

If you believe that many administrators will be modifying registrations, you could change the authentication method to be email and confirmation number.
