  • 1.  Attendee Check-in Via QR Code

    Posted 10-27-2023 09:25

Hi, has anyone used something like OnArrival to allow attendees to check themselves in to an event via a QR code? This would be for an event where the Event App or Attendee Hub would NOT be used. It would allow the planners to work on other urgent things while still capturing the attendance data required.

    Hi Jo Anna,

Many customers use our Kiosk Mode as a feature of OnArrival Premium. Kiosk mode allows for attendees to walk up to an iPad and check themselves in via the following methods:

Kiosk Mode - Best for advanced check-in and onsite registration. You can collect payments, signatures, and attendee photos, as well as ask questions during check-in.
QuickScan - Best for check-in with minimal kiosk contact. You can send attendees a QR code or Apple Wallet Pass prior to the event so they can check in and print their badge. They can also search for their name at the kiosk.
QuickScan Hands-Free - Best for a fast check-in without touching the kiosk. You'll need to send attendees a QR code or Apple Wallet Pass  prior to the event so they can check in and print their badge onsite. Attendees cannot edit their badges unless they are using the Event App's QR Code.
