HI I'm having the same issue. I have made sure that the self-printing area shows participants. Still did not fix the issue. I'm thinking I need to update the URL in the email design under certificates, but I can't find the certificate URL to update it to.

Hi Stacey,
The certificate under badges and certificates has a setting to assign the registration type for who can print the certificate. Please verify that the registration type is associated here. If there is no registration type associated, you will receive this error message.

Subject: Certificate link in email not working
Hi, all. I created a certificate for my event and I created a custom email to use to send out the certificate. The email included both the data tag for the certificate link and the data tag for the certificate url. It has been a month or so since the event and now attendees are catching up on email are trying to access their certificate. Only when they click the link/url they receive an error message "This Certificate does not exist. For more information, please contact the event planner directly." Why isn't it working?
The certificate does exist. I can go to each attendee's record and using the Bulk Actions>Print Badges I can generate a pdf which I can then save and email to the individual. But that is sub-optimal when I have quite a number of attendees. That is why I was using an event email with the certificate data tag!
Thank you for any advice you can give me!
