  • 1.  Connection invite troubleshooting

    Please help with the event app. When an attendee invites me to connect i try to press accept but it shows Could not connect try again. Whyis that? I feel like its an issue from Cvents side because the connection invite goes through, however actually cannot be done. The wifi and internet is all good.

    Hi Alita,

    Sorry you ran into this. This usually points to an app/device troubleshooting issue rather than just Wi-Fi.

    A few things to check first:

    • Make sure the attendee is using a supported device/OS. The Cvent Events app requires iOS 15+ or Android 11+, and Kindle Fire / Amazon App Store devices aren't supported.

    • Review the Attendee Hub Event App troubleshooting resources.

    • If it's still happening, I'd recommend reaching out to Cvent Customer Support so they can investigate the app behavior directly. Cvent's public guidance says urgent event app issues like logins, performance, and technical troubleshooting should go to Support, which is available 24/7.
