1) The most common website will be the registration website. We use a very basic summary page, nothing very complex.
2) We hold on average 3 to 4 events per year, looking to scale it to maybe 10 in 2024. We use primarily the registration website, again with a basic summary page.

Subject: Event Websites
Happy Monday everyone! We are going to kick things off with our next Huddle of the Week!
Website design is an important element in your event strategy. Two types of websites you can choose from are either an event registration website or a marketing website. For smaller and simple events you may decide that all you will need is an event registration website. For more complex events, a marketing website is perfect. To build either type of website, you will need to include a header, hero/banner, body, and footer. This is the base to start with and then you can further build out your websites with design rules, branding, and how to drive registrations.
Questions for you:
- What is the most common website that you build out for your events, an event registration website or a marketing website?
- How many events do you hold per year and which type of websites do you build to support them?
Looking forward to reading your comments below!
