  • 1.  Game Using QR codes

    Is there a way to NOT show the QR codes in the app/web so that we can just print them and have attendees scan them in person at the end of a session or at an exhibitor booth for example. If they just show in the app, the reality is they can just go through and scan them all without actually doing the intended action.

    Hi Cate,

    The QR codes for the QR code challenges in the game do not show to attendees in Attendee Hub. They only see the ability to click into the challenge and either scan a QR code, which brings up their camera to scan the QR code you have printed out/displaying somewhere onsite or manually enter a code (which you can customize). Only you on the backend within the game set up will be able to see and download the actual QR code itself that attendees will scan to earn points. Setting Up and Managing the Attendee Hub Game

    Just a separate question regarding the QR Code Challenges. Can each QR code only be scanned once for completion of an action?

    Hi Serena,

    Yes. In Attendee Hub each QR code challenge can only be completed once per attendee-they can scan (or enter the code) a single time to earn points for that action; additional scans of the same QR code won't award more points.
