We can't pick and choose what shows on the event listing at this point in time - the app would either have to be fully hidden so that it wouldn't be seen publicly at all or if visible, then the info like the event dates and location would show. I would recommend submitting this as feedback within Participate > Product Ideas. 

If helpful, I will also mention that our most common event app visibility setting that we see is to make the app visible, not require an event ID to access, but prompt attendees to log in in order to download the event. That way, your attendees don't have to worry about entering in the event ID at all, which proves to be challenging for people to get right/remember and they can just search for the name of the event instead. And then by prompting them to log in before they download the event, that will make sure that only those who are registered for the event are able to access the app. Totally up to you what visibility settings you would like, but I wanted to share what we see most commonly used, which makes it easier for attendees to find and log into the app successfully, which ultimately increases your app adoption rate.
