    We seem to have random lines/breaks appearing in our emailers when sending them off Cvent. Is there a way to fix this?

    Hi there,

    Within the email designer do you have a divider widget added? It is difficult to tell from the screenshot, so I would recommend giving our 24/7 Customer Care team a call and they can help troubleshoot this with you live by looking at the email with you in your account.

    Ditto, but usually through the registration button or custom links! Here, we saw lines through images.

    Same! I've even seen the lines go through QR codes.

    I figured it was just a new quirk with Outlook 365, similar to how all left-aligned text is now justified when it's supposed to be just left-aligned (it hyphenates words and we seem to have no control over it).

    Hi there, 

    I am still getting this now, but it seems to me to be an outlook issue from Cvent emails as it is not showing on the email designer... 

    Did you find a solution to this problem in the end or is the best outcome to ring Cvent and see if they can help?

    Hi There, 

    Thanks for flagging the random lines and breaks you're seeing in your emails.

    This behavior is usually caused either by:

    • A Divider widget or borders on a row/column in the Email Designer, or

    • How certain emails (especially  in Outlook) render nested table backgrounds and borders.

    A couple of quick checks you can try in your template:

    1. In the Email Designer, click where the line appears and confirm there isn't a Divider widget there; if there is, delete it or remove its border/height.

    2. Select the surrounding row/column and remove any top/bottom borders and make sure the background color of the widget, its column, and the section all match.

    3. Compare how the email looks in different clients (e.g., Outlook vs. webmail) to confirm whether it's specific to one person.

    If none of those options help, I would recommend reaching out to Customer Care to troubleshoot further.
