Each account, each MRF, and processes are different, but overall it is a good idea to assign them with an event role (whether you do it manually or automatically using a role trigger) to allow them to make changes to event statuses. Depending on the setup of the account, some statuses may only be available to certain roles, so you may want to work with your customer success or account team to best understand how to set this up.
