    Hi Forum people,

    I wonder if you might help me with a question. I have removed some people from a waitlist but spaces would have become available for the event before I removed them. (My manager has other people he'd like to give priority to) 

    Will those people have received any notification that a place has become available? .. might I have a little mess on my hands?

    They will not be automatically notified. You can cherry pick whom to move off the waitlist  or send an email notifying them that a spot has opened up.

    Apparently, my waiting list function was not working correctly. :(  and I came across a snafu (over capacity) and I'd like to know how to manually place folks on the waiting list who already registered?  It doesn't give me an option to change status to 'waitlist' ....only 'pending' 'decline' 'unregister' etc....

    Thanks Steven.  I was referring to the event waitlist.  I believe it's working now because I now see folks on the 'waitlist'.  Not sure how it happened.  The sessions still had room, but the overall capacity had reached it's max.  Thanks again!
