Cvent Beginners

We have a highschool program coming up and I want to make sure that a parent is able to register more than one child.  Someone tested it and said it didnt really work.  Is there something special I need to do to allow this?

Yes, parents can register more than one child, using either Guest Registration (children tied to the parent, all cancel if the parent cancels, suitable if kids don't need separate records) or Group Registration (each child is a separate registrant with their own records, emails, and badges, while one parent completes payment). Guest registration is simpler for kids treated as part of the parent's registration, while group registration is ideal if each child needs independent confirmation or may attend separately.

How to enable:
Guest Registration setup: Go to Registration > Registration Process > Site Designer, drag in the Guest Registration widget, configure max guests per parent, and publish.

• Group Registration setup: Go to Registration > Registration Process > Site Designer, open Registration settings for the parent path, toggle "Allow registrant to add group members," set max group size, and publish.
