Hi Rob,
You're absolutely right-Cvent doesn't allow you to set multiple dates under the main event date range field for non-consecutive days. But there's a great workaround: you can create separate sessions within a single event for each training date and time.
Here's how:
-
Go to the Sessions section in the event.
-
Create a session for each training day (e.g., "Training Part 1 – July 5" and "Training Part 2 – July 12").
-
Set the correct date and time for each session individually.
-
If all attendees are expected to attend all sessions, you can auto-enroll them. Or, if it's optional, allow them to select sessions during registration.
This way, your single event spans multiple dates, and everything is managed in one place.
Let me know if you'd like help setting this up! Please contact me if you need any assistance with your event in Cvent.

Subject: Setting Up a Multi Day Event
Hello,
Many of the events we host are multi day training series that are not on subsequent dates and times. For example, one training might be on July 5 from 10 am to Noon. The next session might be on July 12 from 3 pm to 5 pm. This is the same event, just held over multiple days.
In the event creation tool in Cvent there is a way to collect all of the pertinent info from the event planner, but there is no way that I can figure out to add more than one date. Surely there has to be a way to handled this.
Any advice for this newbie?
Thank you!
