I'm getting ready to tackle this year's event build. What's your favorite feature/tip/trick you've discovered that you want to share with everyone?

This isn't directly about event build, but it is something I learned at Cvent CONNECT last year that now saves me almost two full days of work.

I discovered that feedback survey results can load directly into the Speaker Resource Center, allowing speakers to access their own evaluations. Before that, I used to download each report, paste the data into a template, and email every speaker individually. I would procrastinate for days because the process felt so overwhelming.

When I asked Cvent staff about it, they showed me how to do it and told me that the feature had been available for almost two years - I have no idea how I missed it! Now the survey results load automatically into the Speaker Resource Center, and all I have to do is send one email letting speakers know their feedback is ready.

Total game‑changer. I've learned that if I have a pain point, to ask someone; there might already be a solution out there.

I've started even adding the company contact as an administrator to the speakers, so that they can log in on behalf of the speaker and view the reports on their own.

One of my favorite Cvent features is actually something we discovered after the event!

Last year was our first year using Cvent Premium Surveys after transitioning from SurveyMonkey, and our survey response rates were much lower than expected. We learned that attendees didn't like having to fully log back into the event platform after the event ended just to complete a survey.

During our post-event debrief, we discovered that surveys can be shared using a direct link that only asks attendees to enter the email address they registered with-no platform login required.

I just had a virtual event this past weekend. In the Thank You email, we used the link for surveys. That was a total game changer for us and I can't wait to see what a difference it makes on survey completions.
