Cvent Beginners

Hi everyone,

I have been using the Cvent platform for about four months and it seems that I am learning new tricks and hacks everyday.  Is there a specific training roadmap out there with the suggested order in which Cvent Academy trainings and certifications should be completed? I feel like I have been winging it so far. :)

There are training paths in the learning catalog however, I find that searching the knowledge base is the most helpful when questions come up. I find the articles are super helpful and answer all of the question or generally connect me in a way that I can figure it out.  We ended up developing our own trainings for event builds for our users because there is so much complexity to the tool and how one event functions over another.

Cvent Academy Certifications, which are free at the moment provide a pathway to learning if you follow the modules in the order presented. 

The organization of the new Product Learning Center can be used as a pathway. For instance, if you click into the Registration Product Learning Center, towards the top of the home page you will find you can learn via resource articles and/or Cvent Academy training modules. The order of the topics serves as a route for learning.

The Popular Topics area makes it easy to find articles which is be a good way for new users to easily find what they need if they are not familiar with keywords to use in searching. For new users, check out the bottom of the resource articles to find links to more information. 

As Amy noted, the learning path could be related to your immediate needs.

We also developed our own training program specific to our processes and team's needs, however, we are encouraging use of the Cvent resources as a supplement.
