Agree with @Lindsay Buchanan ! I also create event level custom tags. For example, we had 3 local airports and several different dates that weren't in the system. I created custom data tags for those so I could use them easily. Typing out airport names in multiple places risks a lot of errors in...

I use the Datatags across multiple areas...you only have to update the content once and it will update everything it is pulled! :-) Best #cventhack ever! I also agree with Brenda's suggestion, we also do this for "statements" since we get asked for these all the time for reimbursement purposes....
