Cvent Beginners

Hi all!  I'm working on my first big event through Cvent and I'm looking to include a page with some general agenda info.  I was looking at Cvent CONNECT 2023's Agenda at a Glance page, and really liked how the user can drop down the programming or event title to see more info about that event.  The closest thing that I can find in the site builder for my event is the Agenda at a Glance widget, which has a different, timeline style presentation.  Does anyone know how I could achieve a similar look and interaction as the Cvent CONNECT Agenda at a Glance page?  Agenda at a Glance - Cvent CONNECT 2023  Thanks for your help!!

Hi Jess,

It appears Cvent might have used a code widget to create an accordion style agenda. Attached is a resource document from a session on Code that was presented at 2021 Cvent Connect.  Page 1 has a link to Flex Coding Options. Page 4 has a link to an accordion code generator.

One of the resource articles indicated a client might have to contact their Customer Success Team to activate the Code Widget which is found in the right hand side Build menu > Page Elements > Text & Visuals > Code.

Another way you could accomplish a similar look is to use the Agenda widget.  Turn off displaying session code, location, etc.  Update the Secondary Sort to hide the Session Time by matching the font color to the background color. The Session Description will not fill across the whole width of the widget, but it would have a similar functionality and look. I thought there was a setting to turn off displaying the Session Time, but couldn't find it.

Matching the color of text to the background is a hack to hide text in widgets.

If you want to remove the times from agenda page, you just remove it in the "Sort & Filter Options" and publish the change. That will do it.

The same goes for agenda widget on the registration process pages.
